Linkplay Technology Inc., a leading turn-key solution provider, is excited to announce the
release of its IoT/Thin Client module, a new generation of Smart Audio modules and a line of Smart Auto solutions.

The T01 module is Linkplay’s latest IoT/Thin Client product to enter its range of offerings. This module is based on Realtek RTL8711 and RTL8761, combining ARM Cortex M3 MCU, IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and also Bluetooth 4.2. The T01 module supports Amazon Dash Replenishment, which enables connected devices to automatically reorder physical goods such as coffee pods, electric toothbrush heads, printer ink, air filters, and more when supplies are running low. With the new T01 module, customers can build, customize, and launch their very own IoT device into the market quickly and efficiently.

The A97 module is Linkplay’s 4th generation smart audio module with improvements in its
performance and cost effectiveness. This module is integrated with the low power Broadcom BCM43438 Wi-Fi/BT chip and dual-core Cortex A7m processor. It supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4GHz, BT4.2 with EDR and BLE, SW EQ, SW AEC, Analog MIC, with Hi-Fi support of 192k/24bits. Customers can use the A97 module to build out high-quality speakers, sound bars, and other connected audio devices.

Expanding into the auto market, Linkplay has developed an auto product solution ready for the marketplace. The Linkplay’s auto solution has a proprietary architecture and SDK to make phone calls, respond to texts, play music, and more features using voice technology. Linkplay’s goal is to help companies develop car electronics that improve safe driving experiences for everyone on the road. Linkplay has a variety of ready to market white label auto products for customers to choose from and the option to customize products to their specifications.

Linkplay is continuing to expand and diversify its solutions to meet its customer’s needs with the goal of helping customers build and launch successful products into the market quickly and efficiently. With their vast experience in the product development process DK Stream will be the perfect partner to bring your audio projects to life. With a great pool of talented engineers at hand, DK Stream offers an array of technical development customization allowing for seamless product development.

This partnership between Linkplay and DK Stream enables European OEM customers to use Linkplay’s high quality and cost-effective turn-key solutions to power their new products in multiple verticals. We are pleased to announce that popular streaming music service, Amazon Music is now integrated in our Linkplay companion app. This Amazon Music integration gives users with products Powered by Linkplay access to Amazon Music within their product companion app.

With Amazon Music, Prime members enjoy more than 2 million songs and thousands of stations and playlists at no additional cost to their membership. Listeners looking for even more music selection can try Amazon Music Unlimited, a premium subscription service that provides unlimited access to more than 50 million songs including all the latest new releases. In addition to today’s news, Linkplay will also offer a 30 day free trial for Amazon Music Unlimited for listeners who are not yet enjoying the subscription service.

We are beyond excited to integrate Amazon Music into our solution. With this new integration, users will be able to listen to ad-free music with unlimited skips and offline playback. The partnership between Linkplay and iHeartRadio started out with both companies coming together to fully integrate iHeartRadio into the Linkplay app back in 2015. From there, both companies have continued to work together and have built a strong and lasting partnership. As proud partners, Linkplay would like to share some exciting news regarding iHeartRadio!

iHeartMedia, the leading audio and media company in the US, made an agreement to acquire Stuff Media, one of the leading podcast publishers with well-known podcasts likeStuff You Should Know and Atlanta Monster.

iHeartMedia is already partnered up with big podcast publishers and offers over 20,000 podcasts to all listeners. Since its acquisition of Stuff Media, it is now the biggest global commercial podcaster!

iHeartRadio has also teamed up with Amazon Alexa for Hospitality, which brings Amazon Echo devices to hotels and vacation rentals.

Guests can use Amazon Echo in their room to request guest services, play music, turn on the lights, and more using Alexa. They will also have easy access to iHeartRadio without the trouble of signing in to an account. Simply ask Alexa to play music and it will automatically launch iHeartRadio.

Alexa for Hospitality can be beneficial for OEM brands who are looking into the Hospitality market and could be a potential partnership in the future.
